New Years

So... Welcome to the twenty-first and one-tenth's century. xD

Tomorrow is New Years.
Today is New Years Eve.
Welcome to 2010.

New Year's Resolutions:
~ Be less angry at retarded people. (I probably will never get this one.)
~ Good grades. (This is a must...)
~ Learn more about technology. (Easy.)
~ Not be bored when stuck in a boring situation.
~ Own at debate at Stanford and Berkeley. (We Will Win.)
~ Qual. to State (1a. and 1b.)
~ Focus on things that are important... (Umm... Yeah....)
~ Find another anime and manga to read. (Anime and Manga are incredibly important to me).

I'm quickly running out of ideas. I'll update this whenever I feel like it. Which will be never...

New Years Resolutions are like... Pointless to me... If you think about it, New Years Resolutions are just false promises that we believe we will fulfill. I've seen statistics that state that over 95% of people don't actually fulfill their New Years Resolutions.

Is that sad, or is that just sad?

Nonetheless. I'm doing it just for tradition. It also gives me... not something to shoot for by the end of the year, but more like some guidelines on what to do during the year.
It's not like I form my year's framework around these resolutions. It's just... something to do... or hope on doing. xD

So... Anyway... What I expect from this new year...

Well... Not much.... High schooler's mentality will stay the same. The mere mentality of humanity as a whole of being massively ignorant will stay the same (especially people's belief that whatever Obama says will work because he's "God," or that people should do absolutely nothing because other people in the world will solve all of their problems). Etc.

Or, mostly, teenagers believing that they are the center of the world and not understanding that there are people in the world (like me) who WILL run them over if they don't cross the street at the crosswalk that is FORTY FEET AWAY, or don't have enough brain cells in their head to know that you shouldn't be staring at you god-damn iPhone as you cross the street because the bus will run you over.
Etc.

It's very strange (and, at times, funny) to see the stupidity in others and notice how their ignorance seems to spread like H1N1.
And then, when you just so happen to go around the world, you notice that the same stupidity is present in places around the world. (And people scoff at the US...)
It's weird to see that humanity is linked in solely one thing.

Our stupidity.

Of course, I'm not saying that I'm perfect. I am FAR FROM. I am such a jackass (as you can see now), and I don't seem to care much for others, and, mostly, I don't see why others care about me. But knowing, and being able to see, the stupidity in others does give me an upper advantage.

Ehh... You can't change them... Sadly...

Well... you CAN... but we'll go to jail if we do...

Anyway. It's the New Year. Happy New Year. Honestly. Seriously. I'm serious. Happy New Year.

That's probably the only "Happy" you'll ever get from me... Other than Happy Birthday... Maybe... I just might "forget."

Haha. Just kidding.

Um.... This upcoming year, I don't see much changing. Mostly we're probably going to be working on fixing the economy (if we can). I highly doubt that any new gaming systems will be coming out, although the Wii fan-craze is slowly falling.
It seems like it's going to be a fairly slow year...

I think this will be a good time for most of us to consider our purpose in the world. Not entirely in a philosophical way, but just in a practical way. What do we affect? Who do we affect?
Like... Since this year is going to be slow, just take into account why you're here.
Maybe you'll learn something. Or realize something...

And... maybe... reach for that extra step... The higher apple in the tree of your life... Strive for what you really want.

Ugh... I'm getting philosophical. F**k...

*sigh* Whatever. Work on improving yourselves... You'll need it... and many others will appreciate it also.

Get ready for 2010.
